Performance Brake Pads
Yellowstuff™ compound has an extremely low metal content, meaning these pads are very kind on discs and any brake dust can be easily wiped off painted wheels and calipers with a damp cloth. Yellowstuff™ pads will not eat through rotors like most other performance pads on the market, where some users report a wear ration of 1 set of pads to 1 set of discs!
Although not a legal requirement for brake caliper conversions, Yellowstuff™ material is ECE R90 approved giving you peace of mind that these pads will operate safely in all climates, at any vehicle speed and in all weather conditions.
YellowStuff™ Pads
The Pad and line Kit is supplied with EBC Yellowstuff™ pads for both front and rear axles. Unlike all other front ‘big brake kits’, which solely supply parts for the front axle, EBC includes matching Yellowstuff™ brake pads for the rear axle at zero additional cost to you. This ensures your vehicle ends up with an optimum brake balance and the rear axle shares a portion of the braking load, giving improved control under braking and shorter overall stopping distances.
Yellowstuff™ pads offer excellent cold bite and zero brake noise making them a great pad for road use, although track-capable, is no longer recommended for track use on most cars due to its long bed-in process.

EBC YellowStuff compound is a true winner all around, it has high friction from cold, not requiring warm-up for street use yet when loaded up and really hot the brakes just get better. Available for all modern street cars and even for truck and SUV calipers these pads grip and do not heat fade.
Yellow is still a popular pad for lighter race car use and drifting, for higher duties on the track Bluestuff or our new RP or SR grades are worth a look.
If using the track pre-bed before events and note the somewhat longer bed-in, if you're looking for a trackpad that beds in super fast, go for the Bluestuff grade.
